| | in order to prevent any rumors or speculations i would like to let everybody know right here and now that i am leaving the dreary corporate world of financial services industry and going for master of science in Interior Design. i was accepted to Pratt Institute to start this fall and could not have been more thrilled. the program will last 3 years and in five years you are all welcome to pay me $200/hour to redo your newly bought residences. : ) | |

| Меня всегда удивляло почему евреи из Одессы и Ленинграда так
отличаются друг от друга. У меня возникла такая теория. Все евреи
делятся на две категории “инженеры” и “торговцы”. Это не значит что
евреи по профессии бывают только инженерами или торговцами, это
скорее просто короткие названия их сути. Надо также отметить, что и
евреи “инженеры” и евреи “торговцы” одинаково очень умные люди.

| i remember the college times, when on saturday nights at 2am there would be a ton of people online, not sleeping, available to talk to. my day would have pretty much just begun and after coming home from some party i could spend the rest of the night talking to 3-4 people (usually guys) online. just like me they would have no reason to be in bed or be rushing somewhere.
what the hell happened to that life?? out of my whole buddy list only 3 are still in college (one is my boyfriend who's leading more of a working lifestyle and is presently sound asleep, one is Borya who is not really in college yet, and there is Valera who's got a late start with the whole education thing). everyone else is working some entry-level job and right now either... | |

| | | Wed, Dec 15, 2004. Christmas party | | | Мои первый корпоративный Christmas party. Дело было на втором этаже большого бара/ресторана в upper financial district. Костюмы с галстуками и много красных блузок что то там орали друг другу, пытаясь перекричать соседей. Оpen бар с чем угодно кроме shots (к этому вернусь). Немного hors d'oeuvres и “classy” буффетная еда. Показали филмез с разными смешными фотками коллег за прошедший год. Потом одна из групп спела несколько Christmas carols правда немного... | |
