| | There is a wedding that I have to attend in Chicago and, lucky me, I am one of the bridesmaids. As such I will be subjected to countless humiliations including but not limited to picturetaking (and we all know what my pictures look like), standing in a church for an hour or two with the most atrocious bouquet of flowers you have ever seen, and you wont be able to miss me--I will be the girl looking like an overgrown pale pink pig waiting to be butchered. The dress that the bride chose is not bad, but I can't imagine a dress that is worse suited for my figure and weight issues. Not only its sateen, which is merciless when it comes to highlighting each and every crease and crevice of fat on my body, its of a pale pink color that looks very much... | |
| | | Mon, May 16, 2005. Engagement Party | | | Yesterday I went to the engagement party of my very dear friend. But it wasnt just an enagement party it was a Jewish one. The guys were seated in the living room around a great big table while the ladies had to be circling around the food in a small kitchen--with just two chairs in presence. well Lesha ran away in under 2 minutes but me and my mother had to stay. Within first 5 min, we were approached by svaxa--my mom shooed her off with grace and posture of a great dane walking by a small shavka. Right after excerise began, guys stood and started to recite a prayer, whch would have been fine if they hadnt started squatting and bowing simultaneously. | My last day on my current job, I am very excited to move on to a human work schedule(9-5)and even though I will miss leaving work at 2:30p.m., I definitely wont miss waking up at 4:45a.m.
Also I am very relieved that I do not have to train and babysit Indians anymore and the most exciting part I will be working in the center of the city-- 3Times Square!!!
The only thing I can add is UUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAA! | |
