So... Scotland.. land of men in skirts and Haggis [if you dont know what that is, go look it up.. ha ha ha] anyway.. our flight there was better than we hoped, we checked in online before hand, so security check was fast... though we had to leave our lipsticks and toothpaste behind... so sad... we got to Heathrow, London.. also not bad security, as I sat on the plane I watched Irene's suitcase being loaded on the plane, and then my suitcase scanned and driven away! Ofcourse, as I figured.. NO suitcase for me or Olka or Lana when we landed in Edinburg.. the only one that got it was Irene! And Vika, but she did a smart thing, took a direct flight...
So, having no suitcases, and being that it was 60F weather there... we made the best of it, walked around.. got drunk ofcourse, bought wine and drank that as soon as we got in... hmm
The apartment was great, close to everything... did I mention we lost our suitcases??
So we called the next day, and no one answered the phone.. the number they gave us was completely useless.. so being all upset, we went shopping ofcourse! Met some nasty store workers... when did a store ever close right on the dot? Apperently that only happens in Scotland!
We booked some tours, and they were wonderful.. beautiful scenery... small towns with little coffee shops and very friendly people.. [did I mention we had no luggage.. oh yes, I did.. ] our tour guide was GREAT, told amazing stories... and didn't mind us being late coming back every time.. not our fault at all!
