For those who are interested... which very well could be none...
I just figured out the nicest way to do table column resizing in JS. It is not the cleanest way, but it seems like it works much better than anything else and allows to synchronize resizing of title columns and data columns (or any objects for that matter)
The sample code is here: columnResizing.zip (works in IE and Firefox)
